Paroo is a 61-ft OA custom-designed and built cutter-rigged sloop designed by leading Sydney yacht designer, Graham Radford. Launched in 1993.The design criteria specified a completely equipped long-distance cruising yacht. One which performed well, had all safety features, was comfortable to live on and travel in, easy to handle with a reduced crew and which had pleasing lines.
These objectives were certainly achieved and has been proved in a very successful circumnavigation to the very fastidious owner's complete satisfaction.
Design and construction meets the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping and New South Wales Waterways Authority.
